Rio Namiki

LEED GA / Design Staff

Rio Namiki is an accomplished generalist with experience in typologies including residential, commercial, hospitality, educational, and historic preservation. She brings an emphasis on context and materiality to the design and construction process. Rio has practiced in Miami, Florida, and South Carolina prior to joining Weinstein A+U.

A native of Japan, Rio is interested in the intersection of culture, urbanism and architecture. These interests lead her to study a range of subjects, such as a post-Tsunami survivors in Tohoku region, Japan, as well as post-apartheid townships in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa.
