Town Hall Seattle

Town Hall Seattle

Seattle, WA

Town Hall Seattle is housed in an architecturally significant building that was originally built for the Christian Science Church in 1925. It is a much-loved venue for performing arts and public gatherings with over 400 events held each year. After nearly a century of continuous use, Town Hall Seattle sought to renovate its building.

The improvements include the restoration of key historic features, structural upgrades, a full seismic retrofit, and the complete remodel of building areas not subject to historic landmark status. The project also addresses accessibility upgrades, new building MEP systems, as well as upgrades to lighting, audio/visual systems and acoustic performance.

Architects from Weinstein A+U and BuildingWork contributed to the restoration of Town Hall Seattle.
