Design Staff / WELL AP, Assoc. AIA

Kelsey Pierson is a project designer at Weinstein A+U. After working as an intern at the firm, she joined Weinstein A+U because of the firm’s emphasis on urban conditions and community living, engagement with Seattle non-profits, and leading role in creating affordable living opportunities for Seattle families. Kelsey is excited to be involved in public engagement and collaborative partnerships in all levels of project design and implementation.

Kelsey holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Washington, where she was a Valle scholar in Copenhagen. There, she researched architectural strategies for water infrastructure and climate change, which led to a thesis exploration of water and equity in Mexico City’s peripheral neighborhoods. Outside the office, Kelsey enjoys creating illustrations and mixed-media art depicting travel, culture, and the beauty of everyday life.
