Raquel Dias Ferreira
Design Staff
Raquel rejoins Weinstein A+U after spending the last few years moving between Portugal, where she collaborated on hospitality and urban rehabilitation projects, and Seattle, where she co-founded a design studio devoted to small-scale dwellings. A registered architect in Portugal, Raquel has over 10 years of experience in architecture and urban planning, including civic, housing, adaptive-reuse, and non-profit projects.
Raquel holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Lisbon where her thesis focused on the social dimension of space in Japanese housing. She completed internships in New York and Santiago-Chile, which set her on a path exploring residential architecture in different cultures. She thrives off the collaborative design process and enjoys exploring vernacular housing in rural settings.
