The EcoLuxe Apartments will be a four-story mixed-use building on the corner of NE 65th St and 14th Ave NE, in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle.
The future Roosevelt Light Rail Station is schedule to open in 2021, and the neighborhood is already responding to the upcoming connectivity. The EcoLuxe Apartments are part of this revitalization, increasing the walkability and density of the neighborhood and enhancing the pedestrian environment. From its corner site, the small building aims to balance the needs of the intersecting streets: activating NE 65th Street and preserving the privacy of the single-family houses on 14th Avenue.
The 41 units above street level will be studios. Some units feature generous private south-facing patios, while others have bay window views out to NE 65th. An exterior landscaped roof deck and interior residential amenity spaces will provide ample communal spaces for residents.
